AMSOIL Arenacross is coming to Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, MD on January 20-22, 2017. AMSOIL Arenacross is the most intense motocross racing on the planet. It is a full contact sport because of the condensed space on the track. Close quarters call for aggressive passing and, in some cases, take-out moves. The riders are navigating the bike through the challenging course where we (the riders) are literally surrounding each other means there’s no margin for error. The lap times average 25 seconds, so there is constant action and full on racing from start to finish (or bar to bar). Racing at AMSOIL Arenacross is incredibly competitive and intense, and you never know what you’re going to see. In 2015: There were 7 different race winners, twice there was a tie for the points lead. The average points gap between 1st and 2nd throughout the season was 7 and the Average points gap during the race to the championship was 4. The points lead changed 8 times, 4 of which were during the race to the championship. § The Championship came down to the last race of the season, with Kyle Regal edging out Jacob Hayes for the championship.
Fans are so close they feel like they’re right on top of the action. One of the most intense racing environments in the world the track design puts the action in front of the fans like no other form of Motorsport. A live DJ (DJ KO), pyro and special effects get the crowd pumped for action right from the opening ceremonies.
