About The Publisher: Fatima Granados

Hi everyone! I’m so happy to be your new Macaroni Kid publisher. My family and I moved here from Silver Spring about four years ago. We were looking for a change of pace, and we’ve truly fallen in love with the mountain views and the friendly, community feel of the area. 

I’ve worn a few different hats over the years—I’ve been a Respiratory Therapist for 12 years and I’m also a local Realtor—but my most important job is being a mom to my sweet 5-year-old boy. We are currently homeschooling, which means I am always on the hunt for fun, educational ways to keep him busy and learning right here in our backyard! 

As a parent, I know some days the hardest part is just figuring out what to do with the kids. Whether you’ve lived here forever or you’re new to town like I was, I want to make it easy for you to find the fun.

 I’ll be sharing the best local events, hidden gems, and simple ways to enjoy our town together. I’m so glad to be a part of this community, and I can’t wait to explore it with all of you!
