Please note the following:  The Town of Williamsport has made the decision not to hold any formal Halloween/ Trick or Treat activities this year. Residents are still able to voluntarily participate in Trick or Treating on their own. We ask that if you do wish to voluntarily handout candy that it be done on October 31st between 6-8pm so that we may organize a larger police presence to ensure the safety of our residents. We are also asking that residents who decide to participate in handing out treats limit items to prepackaged candies and foods, and refrain from handing out homemade treats. For those who wish to go out and trick or treat please remember to practice social distancing, wear a mask that covers your nose & mouth, and frequently wash your hands. Also if you do not feel well we ask that you stay home to reduce risks of exposure. We also want to encourage residents to stay within Town limits and avoid visiting numerous communities to avoid the risk of exposure as well. We want to encourage everyone to be safe and mindful during this time. Thank you for your cooperation.
