The holiday season comes to life at Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center on November 14 with the return of ICE!, the popular, award-winning ice attraction, and the resort’s Christmas on the Potomac celebration.  With more than 2 million lights, indoor snowfall, a 60-foot-tall suspended glass Christmas tree, and more – guests will feel at home for the holidays during their visit to the Washington, D.C. region’s “Capital of Christmas” resort.

Beginning November 14, guests visiting Gaylord National Resort can experience a new ICE! theme, Frosty the Snowman TM, the classic holiday favorite. Carved from more than 2 million pounds of colorful ice and kept at a crisp nine degrees, guests immerse themselves in life-size, favorite scenes of the magical TV special including: Frosty coming to life; marching through the Town Square; taking a train to the North Pole; and Santa coming to the rescue to make “melted Frosty” whole again. The attraction – complete with its signature two-story ice slide room – ends with a new, interactive experience in “The Frostbite Factory," where visitors can see first-hand how artisans (known for their master ice carving skills) from Harbin, China create ICE!.

ICE! opens Friday, November 14 through 16 and daily from November 20 through January 4. Tickets start at $27* for adults ages 12 and older and $20* for children ages 3 to 11 during non-peak days and $34* for adults ages 12 and older and $28* for children ages 3 to 11 during peak days. Kids 2 and younger are free and military ticket pricing is available. Hours vary and can be found at www.ChristmasOnThePotomac.com.
