Local frugal living blogger, The Nifty Thrifty Lady, announces the 2nd annual Frugal Living workshop Get a L.I.F.E {Lesson in Frugal Economics} to be held March 15, 2014 at Four Points by Sheraton in Chambersburg, PA. The Nifty Thrifty Lady’s creator, Jennifer Ward will present with Stephanie Reese: co-contibutor to the Nifty Thrifty Lady, Dwight Karkan: owner of Organized by Dwight; Harmony Wilson: art major and hobby enthusiast, Thomas Browning: Owner of Highland Building Services, Renee Crabtree: Owner of Ageless Photography, Enkore Kids of Boonsboro, and Maggie Dubois: with doTERRA Natural Wellness.
Attendee’s of Get a L.I.F.E. will learn how to save money in the areas of home organization, family budgeting, meal planning, baby essentials, home repair, traveling, gardening, and more! Presentations will be made on how to party plan for less, take professional-like photos of our children and update your medicine cabinet with essential oils. Each attendee will receive resources to take home to help reach their financial goals after leaving the workshop.
Jennifer Ward has been running niftythriftylady.blogspot.com for over two years, teaches coupon classes at local libraries, and speaks for a variety of groups.
Tickets are currently on sale for Get a L.I.F.E half day tickets are $15.00 and full day tickets are $30.00 and includes a catered lunch by Amber’s Country Catering. A portion of the proceeds go to The Carcinoid Cancer Foundation. The event will run 9:00am-2:00pm with registration starting at 8:30am.
